Terms and Conditions
In order to have a painting completed you MUST be the copyright holder for the photo(s) you are supplying. Generally the person who took the photo owns the copyright and you need their permission to modify or reprint it.
According to the copyright act if the photograph was commissioned (by agreement and for money) for a “private or domestic purpose” — such as a family portrait or wedding or birthday party — then the client owns copyright, unless there is agreement to the contrary.
We will bear no liability for copyright infringements and will assume that all photos supplied are copyright free when supplied to us for painting.
No guarantees are given for backing up or archiving customer files. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain backups of files supplied to us.
